Hi! I'm Emily Majors, but you can call me EM! I'm an architectural designer based in Brooklyn, NY, currently working at Jennifer Bonner's practice, MALL. I am originally from Beaumont, TX and am a graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Design's Master of Architecture I Program. Before beginning at the GSD, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University.

My work explores adaptive reuse, small-scale urban intervention, and the ways in which popular culture shapes the built environment. I'm drawn to projects that negotiate social and political change without erasure, whether that's reimagining vacant office infrastructure, contributing to community-driven design, or exploring the architectural accessory as a tool for meaningful impact.

Teaching and mentorship are central to how I practice. I've led workshops and design intensives at Harvard and Texas A&M, contributed to studios at the GSD, and mentored high school students through SOM's ACE program. I love helping students find their voice while sharpening their skills.

I am passionate about all things spatial - big, small, digital, physical, inhabitable, wearable...I love it all! I am an expert at 3D modeling, design visualization, and storytelling, and I really like sparkles...
